This 1956 Shepherd was owned by someone who put vinyl on the decks to reduce the maintanance. The wood underneath is good. The windshield glass is missing.

The bottom has been sanded for new finish, the seams are still tight. Originally painted, it could be varnished, too. There are short planks near the bow, and 2 that have become bowed. The bilges are clean and the seams are tight. The transom has been neatly replanked.

The replacement steering box and steering wheel are included with the boat. The original front seats are replaced with marine store seats, the rest needs new upholstery.

The 350 Chevrolet V-8 engine has new heads, a freshly rebuilt carburetor and was recently started and run.

The gas tank needs to be cleaned. The bilge is clean, shaft and rudder are in good shape. The price is $5,000.00 or best offer.

The boat has been put on a very heavy duty galvanized trailer. A few pieces of original hardware have been replated.
